Personally I think a top level 'keeper should be saving the goal, yes it was a reaction save but it was right at him and went through his legs. But this is the problem with Turner (and I have defended him), he can have a good game but he is always good for a goal.
Agree with the general sentiment. Thought he looked poor when he first signed but he had a little run last season before he got that facial injury where he started to look the part. This season though he has been pretty consistent when given the opportunity. Thought he was class on Saturday...
We can live in a world were we adore Steve Cooper for what he did but can also accept that he was cutthroat when he thought players were disrupting the squad.

I haven't read through the thread so don't know how this will gauge but I think it is really good business.
Personally I have always thought Mangala is a neat and tidy player but has always been massively overrated by some. He doesn't really offer a goal threat, he doesn't really get any...
Funnily enough when I saw links to 'keepers the other day I was surprised we hadn't asked about Johnstone. Solid 'keeper who has always done a good job. I thought he was out with quite a bad injury though, similar to Henderson last season.
Happy to see links to the likes of Davis, I think the...
I did my work experience in a butchers and made sausages and all sorts of pies. I have to say Lockies avoided the snouts and arseholes route and generally just used offcuts for his fillings. Bloody good butchers if a little pricey.
But the king in the pork pie market has to be the huntsman's...
If he 100% thought that he wouldn't be able to block the ball, then getting a big deflection on the shot probably wouldn't have helped either. It was just a small part of what was an absolute shambles. I know he has only been at the club a short time, but I'd be getting that set piece coach in...
Unless Nuno plans to play with wing backs, let him go. Thought he had a decent impact in both the Blackpool games but I feel Toff's all round ability is much better suited four at the back.
Manager wants smaller squad and arguably our best and most consistent midfielders hasn't had a look in since the new manager took over.
It is just speculation, I'm not sure anyone is packing his bags just yet.
Mangala has arguably been our most consistent midfielder this season, but judging Nuno's tactics so far I'm not shocked he has been left out of the team and is potentially available for transfer. The two players in the '2' in the 4231 so far have both been athletic and can get around the pitch...
He had agreed to join Spurs in the January transfer window, I have that from a pretty good source. If you remember, 'Boro had a recall clause, Marinakis sweet talked them (and threw them a few quid) for him to stay. Spurs were going to sign him in that January but there was a gentlemans...
