It's not gone down well
The issue isn't "too much" investment, it's too many players every window, many of whom never play and are essentially a waste of time and money.
We often appear to just sign players because we can rather than with any real aim or purpose. This isn't just this season, this is multiple seasons...
With regards to Navas I'd have thought we could get similar levels from someone on loan for less wages. Navas did ok, nothing more than that, we did need him, but his wages were astronomical.
Injuries, did screw us allot last year and cost us allot of money.

Well if it's not true the club can sue the Athletic, or at least get a retraction posted.
The initial overshoot was thought to be about 7m, which would match with the 12th place predicted finish.
So according to the Athletic, our finance director told EM that we would breach PSR in December last year.... He ignored the issue and here we are.
So for all the people saying it's not his fault as other people should have caught it, they did, they warned him and he ignored them.
