Steve Cooper will always be the MAN!

It’s simple. Which side of the fence are you on?

He looked genuinely relieved in his post-match comments. I think he knows better than most that with all those new players the team will need a lot of time to gel properly, so he seemed to worry not to lose all the positivity of the promotion with a string of bad results.

These three points are extremely important; they buy you time and confidence, things all the Premier money cannot buy.

Give him the tools and he will succeed.

He needs such little time with players to drill them well and make them look like a TEAM.

We must give him whatever he is demanding for him to sign the contract, I like to think it's players & it'll be signed when he's happy with the business.

I'm a fan and Coops can do no wrong, so when he thinks the time is right, then he'll sign. Not before.

No worries, he's not going anywhere, he just wants to prove he's worthy of a new contract.

I don't know if this is why the new contract is seemingly on the back-burner, and I won't reveal the details, but my son tells me that Steve's dad is seriously ill at present.

Of course, many people have to deal with illness to close family members whilst carrying on with their job, but few of us are in a global sporting spotlight at the same time.

All the best to you Keith for a speedy recovery.

Get well soon Keith.
And at probably the most critical time for him and the club.

This is season is so important for him. Not just because he wants to get it right for Forest, which he genuinely seems to want. But for his own stock.

I'm sure his own vision of his 'best self' as he likes to call it is a constant work in progress.
