If I was the player I'd say "just gimmie a scarf & tek me photo on the pitch" couldn't be doing with all that f***ing about

Good signing though, I'm pleased with that
At my age Eddie (73) I should be completely with you, but my grandkids love all that kind of stuff, so who am I to object.

All I'd be doing is sounding just like my old man ranting-off when players' goal celebrations evolved to anything more than a simple handshake.

I vividly remember his reaction to Charlie George lying flat on his back on the Wembley turf after scoring the winner in the Cup Final; the air was blue.

My son of 18 loves it and the social media aspect he says Forest are doing it well..who am I to argue couldn't and wouldn't do social media myself.

After he followed his Dad and became a Forest fan at the age of 1 day he has put up with enough misery and despair.

Always remember putting on a quote from him on here many years ago when been subjected to some abuse by some of his mates about football.

"I follow my team and football not fashion"

Great attitude to have. It's an achievement of its own. I hope I'm able to achieve the same.

Cornet had a bit more history and experience with Lyon though, rather than a season with Koln and another with Watford...

£12.5-£15m seems a bit more reasonable if true though, but still not really modest.
Bloody hell Djebbour and Gomis. I completely forgot either player existed!
Raffiq Djebbour-his name in scrabble, it scores 64....

do we know what the actual fee was or has this actually broken the transfer record again?

Between £12.5m & £15m depending who you believe, with add-ons to take it to £20m. So no, it hasn’t broken the record

I think the Maupey deal is the same as well.

Bona in polari means 'good' so that's a great start.

Welcome my Bona man.

You might have to explain to many what polari is. You leave me no choice but to read all your posts in Kenneth William’s campest voice.

As I typed that I was thinking back to "Beyond our Ken" and the other shows with Kenneth Williams and Hugh Paddick.

They can look up Wiki, that'll clear it up.:ROFLMAO:

he might take johnson's spot , brennan has to do better if he is hanging around in the centre , doesn't have the trickery or strength to get pass the marking and way too static to drag defenders out of position.

Depends on the situation and opposition of course but I think Dennis is coming in to start, Maupay possibly is too and I think they'd compliment each other well.

It's quite possible that yesterday we saw our 2nd choice forward line.
