I can’t help but feel Man City have sold too many in general. Jesus & Zinchenko look incredible. They sold Sterling as well. I dunno about them this season, let’s see.

Yeah me too. I think he will step up with ease. He just looks like a natural footballer and there will be more space for him in the PL.

I also think having Williams behind him will help him even more because Spence did occasionally run AT him, Williams can just pick a pass.

We will see but I don’t have many doubts about BJ

Brennan will be the key man again this season.

When you look at the fast paced nature of the Premier League, it suits him so well and he is so clinical when he gets in good positions.

I'm so excited to see how he does.

Have we all got our league ladders at the ready? 😁

Looking at this match, and I trust in Stevie Cooper who will have changed his tactics by now better than either of these.

The pace of the premier league always amazes me, I think it's inevitable that our back line will sit much deeper than what we got used to last season

Hopefully Niakhate stays fit because he's going to be a vital component for us, without him we'll be really struggling for pace at the back

High Press v Arsenal - give them time and they'll open you up (think valencia in pre-season)
Set-pieces + nullify wingers v Palace

It's easy from the sofa this coaching malarkey

Palace never stop battling.

They're a tough team to play against. They surround the player on the ball and usually foul him. Stop the game and momentum and try to take you out of your rhythm. They've got that Luton or Sheffield United mentality but with better players.

Yeah deffo, I felt a twinge of fear seeing the Palace attack when Ramsey saved, like it dawned on me that these are probably mid table but still look 🔥 (Gulp)

Arsenal have been more like Arsenal this half and less Man City.

Palace have done well, I think they are a team we can look at. We play a similar style and they had a big overhaul of players last year.

Equally there is more space in behind which we love to exploit.

PL plays the highest lines in world football.

I would never be able to go and watch Palace with that never ending drumming and those daft ultra fan club songs
I know, people always say they have a great atmosphere but I hate it. Drums never make a good atmisohere

Not sure we'll see us playing with a high line much except when we're chasing games to be honest, everything points towards low block and well drilled counter attacking overloads

I've been a few times as my sister lives around the corner. I've quite enjoyed it tbh and its great to see fans get behind their team even when they're losing.

Every club has their culture and I hate for them all to be the same. The drums are fornother clubs, but I'd rather a noisy Palace.for 90 mins than the cultured silence of the Emirates or wherever.
