Disagree. Johnson is regularly talked about as one of the players to watch in the Premier league this season. When the papers have their "ones to watch" he's the man at Forest, MGW isn't the Wolves man. Johnson's profile is definitely higher, the media expects him to start and will focus on him, MGW doesn't get the same treatment.

One of the players to watch for us, being realistic who on earth else could they have chosen.

Wolves are an established PL team with a host of internationals.

You're hardly comparing like with like are you?

He's going in BUPA level 2 and will need to get one right before he moves up! (and not MGW as we can all say what he say).
You should put me in the lower tier as I just repeat anything I’ve read in the Stuttgarter Nachtrichtung.

I'd say Wolves are taking the piss out of us. That or Brennan is now worth in excess of £30m too. And £15m for Davis isn't unreasonable in this parallel universe.

Clubs in England know Marinakis has money. The fees we're expected to pay become much higher because of it.
In fairness to wolves it’s their prerogative to reject offers for a player under contract. Whether they want him in reality is up for debate and there’s no doubt there’s some kind of a Mexican stand off occurring between the three parties at the moment. Might be a case of Wolves needing to find a striker and then they will bite or just taking us to the limit.

£35m with add ons? Sorry that's just my pants hitting the floor because they are being taken down, so just no, wolves are taking the pi@@ knowing we want him. Walk away.

Wolves don't want him to go yet in case Neves leaves as he's their natural replacement, however for the right price I'm sure they'll be able to agree with Dane's terms. On our view, if Coops and Dane think he will make a difference to the team and they would regret not buying him, then they should make an offer Wolves would accept and be done with it

I like Jacque.

He likes Forest & Cooper.

Seems like a nice chap & normally fairly reliable.

He'd perhaps get taken more seriously with a different profile pic but I have a pic of Bob Fossil as mine so who am I to judge.
Who doesn’t like Steve Cooper?

Wrong uns, I’ll tell you who.

I agree with some others that £35m is too much. Think we could get 2 decent players for that ie possibly Garner
The question is, do you pay over the odds for bringing in the player the manager knows well, who fits what we are trying to build perfectly, or compromise and fall back on other 'lesser' and cheaper options?

I really rate Garner, but of the two I know who I want more...

A good measure for his valuation from our fans perspective is compare him to Brennan in terms of his potential and whatever stats you want to use.

And ask yourself if youd be happy to see Brennan leave for the same amount (assuming you arrive at a similar valuation) As Ive said I personally think Jonnos valuation is higher and Ive no doubt if you asked supporters of other club who they would prefere for a like for like figure 95% would say Brennan. However, some are saying the valuation should be the same so in that case, would you be happy if Brennan went for 30m?

Id be raging personally.

40m and I think youd start thinking. However, hes just signed a new contract so make that 45-50 :ROFLMAO:

I think Wolves are at a stage wherby they cant realistically get any more, and are 100% pushing their luck BUT thats their prorogative, he's their player.

If hes involved in the game tomorrow I honestly think this probably isnt going to happen. What will be, will be. I'd love us to get him though.
