Is it a good one though ? I have one and it is largely crap for watching things elsewhere as it is picked up immediately.

I only really use it for google ranking but occasionally want to watch something abroad, like the game this Saturday then Now are dating I can’t watch as I am in France

it's not as good a paid VPN like NordVPN. But it's also not a threat like many free VPNs.

I love football documentaries, but watching this Arsenal one on Amazon prime & it’s so dull even with complete access. Literally just a massive advert for the club, can see why so many clubs let them make docs on them.

Need more Sunderland Till I Die’s.

That Fabrizio Romano is crazy good

Says Cucurella is signing for Chelsea, Brighton put out a pretty clear statement that it's complete rubbish, he laughs and says he's having a medical & looks like he is about to sign.

He seems to have nailed on sources absolutely everywhere.

Also, Brighton selling him for £62m which seems like a ridiclous amount of money for Chelsea to spend on a left back when they already have Chilwell. Honestly that new owner seems like a bit of a clown, sacked all the football staff there and is just doing it himself.

Chelsea’s new majority owner is your typical US Sports owner in that he’s used to throwing gargantuan sums of money at things to get what he wants.

It might work, or it might go all “Glazers-at-Man-United”.

Cucarella is pure hype, like Wan Bissaka was when he went to United.

He might be decent but not £60m decent surely. Guess we’ll find out.

I think you are being kind by saying it might work. That recruitment model just doesn’t work in the modern era. Especially for a club like Chelsea where the money is so much. Even the Glazers aren’t that careless, they hire people to do it (they are just useless as well).

Also I don’t think he’s even majority owner, he’s one on several consortium members split equally, he was just chosen to front it presumably because he runs an American sports team. It’s a different world to the rigged American system.

If Man City back off and say it’s too much, it’s too much.

Yes they spend lots of money but they are still very shrewd operators.

Wouldn't surprise me either. He's won the Premier League and FA Cup which is as good as it is ever going to get for him (and to be fair, what a career its been for him considering that he came from non-league!), so I can hardly blame him for going to the MLS to top up his pension and see out the remaining years of his career in relative comfort.

Wouldn’t Vardy struggle to get a visa for the states? He’s got criminal convictions hasn’t he?

That is a really good point, he does, doesn’t he?

And the Americans are quite sticklers for that sort of thing, in denying Visas. Unless there is some status he could claim as a priority because he is a prominent footballer or something?

He commented about 'Hillsborough and other hooligan related events in the 1980s'. The entirety of Liverpool is now self-combusting.

Can't see him commentating on a Liverpool home game for a while.

I'm sure Eddie Yates, being the sweetness and light about the Premier League that he is, will be along any moment now to defend Martin Tyler, and will not be labelling him a soft old bastard who should have been pensioned off years ago.

Ian Storey-Moore
The only defence I can make for Tyler is he's old and as other seniors will testify, your mental filters weaken. The amount of times I say something in public only for my regulating inner voice to immediately ask 'why the f*** did you say that?'

"We weren't that long after Hillsborough and other hooligan-related issues as well, so it was a very much a difficult time for the game generally."
he elides Hillsborough into the category of hooliganism.

It doesn't matter what you think happened at Hillsborough, it has never been considered to be caused by hooliganism.

Hopefully, the apologies from Tyler and the BBC will end the matter.

But it shows you just what egg-shell times we live in.

I looked at the quote:

He said the game was "in a bit of a crisis at that time", adding: "We weren't that long after Hillsborough and other hooligan-related issues as well, so it was a very much a difficult time for the game generally."

I think this could be easily explained away as two separate issues. Hillsborough being one and hooligan issues being the other.

As he’s clarified he meant it as I read it, and apologised if any confusion / hurt was caused then that should be the end of it.

But of course it won’t be….
