Nottingham Forest have obviously had some wonderful strikers over the years-I thought I would list my personal favourites in chronological order.
1.Ian Storey-Moore
2.Duncan McKenzie
3.Tony Woodcock
4.Peter Withe
5.Garry Birtles
6.Trevor Francis
7.Peter Davenport
8.Nigel Clough
9.Stan Collymore
10.Kevin Campbell
Notes-
1.I’ve included Ian Storey-Moore although he was primarily a left winger who drifted inside a lot (hence his high goal ratio).
2.I didn’t see enough of Joe Baker to form a proper opinion (he was seriously injured soon after I started following the Reds).
3.Good players like Bryan Roy and Pierre Van Hooijdonk don’t make my list.
4.No striker who has played for Forest this century makes the list.
I’d be interested to see other forum members lists.
