My theory:

Heff was looking at Moreno in his blue boots.

Notcher was looking at Martin Montoya with his beard and hairline.

Yeah I think the boots there along with everything else pretty much confirm it was him I saw, I was starting to think my eyes were going considering I was only about 2 metres away from him if that

Bilbao lads. Not a great bunch of lads
I meant Betis, it was a freudan slip as the Betis lads were telling me about the politics in Spain with Bilbao, even got on to ETA and terrorism, what a 15 mins that was at half time. Still they did offer for me and the lad to go over and watch Betis V Sevilla.. passionate bunch the Spanish

The Bilbao lads don't like other Spanish teams in general but hate all the 'Real' teams because of their royal allegiances.
I believe since the formation of Bilboa they only ever sign players from the Basque region of Spain because it's such a political hotbed which has got a terrorist threat behind it. Take away any political standpoint and that is quite some feat that they remain a solid competitive side in that league despite only having players from a particular region in Spain

Yep one of their mottos is "With home-grown talent and local support, there's no need for imports". Euskadi is a totally unique and interesting language also, fascinating region.

The Spanish guys last night said they had their own dialect which I wasn't aware of (Christ we did get through some topics in 15 mins )

He said he and his friends moved over here because of the crazy political situation in Spain (and because of taxes)

Betis supporters are certainly on the crazy side. I've been to the Villamarin a few times, unfortunately never for the derby.

The Real moniker is strange though, because in Seville Betis are the working man's team.

To be honest I missed the fact you’d called them Bilbao lads not betis. It was more the duff info they gave you hence calling them no a great bunch of Bilbao (betis) lads 🤣

Anyway I’m really confused now!!

I lived in Sevilla for 4 months, so Betis are my team. Proper club and proper fans.

The thing I love about Betis is their fans, they are all absolutely bonkers. Like the local baker who brings a freshly-baked huge loaf, in the shape of the Betis club badge, to every match.

Why? Is the betis catering as shit as Forest’s?
It is actually quite good, and as you walk through La Palmera towards Heliopolis (where the Estadio Benito Villamarin is) you will pass some fantastic local bars doing superb local Andalusian tapas, and decent beer too.

As I have posted before, if you are a fan of European football, the Seville Derby between Betis and Sevilla should be on your bucket-list.

Agreed. There's better value elsewhere. Asking price has gone up for Moreno if that account isn't talking shit, so f*** that. Could almost buy onana with that.
