On the flip side, one of my best friends is an Arsenal ST holder and rates him highly and thinks he would be a great signing for Forest. Says he is a bit of a utility player who can play right back and right wing back, but thinks he is best as a box to box midfielder.

And ex-Aresenal players have had a great impact of late: Bendtner; Jenkinson; even Ramsey to a degree.
Mind you back in the day 2 of our classiest players came to us from Arsenal.
Other than me, can anyone name those 2 who set us on fire in the 1960's?

An Arsenal supporting mate of mine says similar, reckons he'd be an excellent addition for any Premier League side outside of the top six.

Look at the Boro fans. They hate Djed and think he's great business at 20 million. I wouldn't say Boro got fleeced, but 20 million is a good price for Spurs, imho.

20 million for Djed is 5 Million to much so if we drop out the bidding I think it will be a good call

Nail hit on head with hammer, Steve B.
Can you name the centre forward we signed from Arsenal six years before Joe and actually had a very similar goals per game ratio but may well have never had his name mentioned ever on this esteemed forum?

Conte doesn't do arms round shoulders.. He'll have a toy throw about being on bench/not in matchday squad sooner or later ..The price will be wasted and loaned out by January
Totally agree. He's got all the raw materials to be the worlds best, but he's also very raw still himself. He was often caught out of position in the Championship and a step up in level won't help, and if it leads to goals being conceded no way Conte doesn't throw him under the bus. Big Joe managed him through a few games too, not so sure that will be acceptable for a £20m player at a top 4 club.

Could be a spectacular success, or a gigantic failure. Don't see it being inbetween. Maybe Colin wasn't so far wrong. And as much as I like DJed I detest Spurs, so hoping for the latter (and maybe we get him back for a bargain then too).

I agree with this.
Forest fans will recall any number of our players who left for bigger things but were never the same without Clough.
The Cooper effect shouldn’t be underestimated.

Spot on about Worrall, he played RB as well as RCB half the time.
