I'm all for Dougies renegade masters this season. Sadly, our own snobbery and sense of self-righteousness will likely undo us again, as we sacrifice what's good in the clamour for what's perfect.

Newcastle and Sunderland interested. I suspect Chelsea might want him to play in the prem like they did with Lukaku (even though they eventually let him go). He's 21 now so he needs to continue his rise in the quality defenders he's up against. Sunderland and Newcastle are no threat to Chelsea.

Signed a five year contract with Benfica last year but has been stuck in their reserves ever since. He was in Germany a couple of weeks ago after agreeing terms with 1860 Munich but the deal was apparently called off. Same agent as Guy Moussi and Floyd Ayite, not much connection there but who knows with Pedro at the club?
